Client Highlights 2016

2016 was a great year for me as a photographer because I was lucky to connect with lots of clients who value photo stories as much as I do. They, like I, believe that every picture will forever hold a little story. They, like I, believe that we are all made of stories; that stories will someday be all we have left.

And in 2016 I had the supreme honor of bottling a few, shining stories for my clients so that someday they will be able to show them to their children and pass on a little of who they used to be. Here is what they might say...

"Once, your head fit in daddy's hands."

"Here are the last remaining days as a family of three."

"Bath time was a joy when you were a baby!"

"You were lucky to grow up on the very same street mommy spent her childhood."

"No matter the time of day, you always make us giggle."

"The story of your summer nights growing up: the sprinkler, s'mores, and sparklers."

"You had a 5th birthday fit for an almost-kindergartener, with friends, family, games, and of course, silly string!"

"When you and your daddy were together, shrieks of laughter would usually follow."

"Your big brother has watched out for you since you were babies."

"Here's proof: you've always trusted daddy's strong hands."

"On the night before college, you prioritized time spent with your mom and sisters."

"When all three of you were little, many summer sunsets were spent on the swing set in the backyard."

"This is how our family does get-togethers: full of silliness and love."

"Remember how you used to rub bunny's ears when you were tired?"

"Your sisters have doted on you since your birth."

"Here you are taking some of your very first steps, from the safety of mommy to daddy's arms."

"You have the kind of mom who knows how to be present and play."

"On this day, you slept through the first part and then woke up with a smile for everyone you saw."

"Your grandparents enjoyed immensely those years, full of kids of every age playing all over their house, backyard, and porch."

"Your brother was always following you around, trying to do everything just as you did."

Do you see why I am so honored to have been chosen to tell those stories? They're more than important: they're everything.
